Cookie Information
Clear information about this website, your choices, and the limits of readiness screening.

Our approach
This website does not use advertising cookies, visitor analytics or session replay. You do not need a visitor account to complete the readiness check or download a report.
Staff sign-in cookie
Staff who sign in receive a necessary session cookie named __Host-practiceshield-session. It contains a random session identifier, not assessment answers. It is sent only over HTTPS and cannot be read by page scripts. Sessions expire after eight hours at most, or after 30 minutes without authenticated activity. Signing out revokes the session.
Form tokens and assessment answers
Public forms use a temporary security token to help limit automated submissions. This token is held in browser memory, expires after two hours and is not an advertising identifier or a cookie. Assessment answers are also held in memory, not saved in local storage. Reloading or closing the page clears an unfinished assessment.
Your browser controls
You can review, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the staff session cookie prevents staff sign-in; it does not prevent use of the public readiness check. Deleting downloaded reports or previously submitted information requires separate action.
External sites and updates
Links to outside websites open services with their own cookie practices. This site does not embed a scheduling widget. We will update this notice if our use of cookies or similar technologies changes.
