These terms describe the use of the PracticeSentinel website and its free educational tools. Use the site only for lawful purposes and provide information you are authorized to share.
Educational screening
The free readiness check offers preliminary observations based on your answers. This preliminary screening is educational. It is not a formal HIPAA security risk analysis, legal advice, certification, or a determination of compliance. Responses are self-reported and have not been independently verified.
Professional services
Browsing, submitting an inquiry or completing a screening does not create a consulting engagement. Paid services require a separate written agreement covering scope, responsibilities and fees. This website is not an emergency incident response service.
Acceptable use
Do not submit patient information, medical records, passwords or malicious content. Do not attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, or disrupt the website. We may restrict access to protect the service and its users.
Reports and website content
You may use your readiness report for your practice’s internal planning and share it with your advisers. Preserve its screening limitations and do not present it as a compliance certificate. Referenced third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ terms.
Availability and reliance
Content and tools may change or be temporarily unavailable. We do not guarantee that website information is complete, that every security gap will be identified, or that using the site will produce a particular regulatory outcome.
